POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Sr. Financial Analyst Co-Pilot, reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Nido and Klim brands within the Global Brands Division.
This role is a strategic partner to the commercial team, working closely with marketing, sales, demand/supply planning, and other key business functions to drive profitable growth and win in the marketplace.
In this role, you will lead, manage, and support short- and long-term planning processes alongside a cross-functional team. You will be able to effectively interact, collaborate, and communicate across multiple functions and levels within the organization; influencing and building consensus to find solutions and drive results for brands you are responsible for.
As a co-pilot, you will play a co-leadership role with the brand marketing manager by providing the team with accurate and timely financial information and analyses, making and implementing sound recommendations to profitably grow the business and working to improve operating costs for the brand.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Act as Head of Finance for assigned brands, laser-focused on delivering against growth and profit targets.
- Manage, facilitate, and participate in key processes, including Monthly Business Planning (MBP), annual marketing business strategy (MBS), ICP and innovation-to-launch (I2L) projects
- Co-Lead cross functional teams through financial analysis and decision support, working closely with marketing, sales, supply chain, and operation teams to improve business performance across all P&L line items.
- Co-Lead and champion actions and projects that improve operating costs or grow the business sustainably and profitably
- Create, analyze, and communicate new product P&Ls and make recommendation to the marketing and sales team through the I2L process
- Develop business cases to delight consumers and drive profitable growth
- Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as requested by leadership
- Support NUSA initiatives through active participation in cross-organizational (and/or cross functional) teams
Qualifications
- BA/BS with major in Accounting, Finance or related
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Accounting/Finance
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Essbase/Smartview, SAP and B/W
- Position will be located in the Arlington, VA Nestle Corporate Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, CMA, CFM, CCE, MBA
- CPG/Food industry experience

- Hands-On experience of financial documents, including P&L
- Understanding of Profitability concepts and the use of P&Ls to drive business decisions.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical problem solving skills.
- Superior execution skills in a changing environment and ability to work in a fast paced
environment.
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
- Oracle Smartview Financial Forecasting Tool
- Experience translating data into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrable experience illustrating insights from data through statistics or data visualization
- Strong data management and analytical skills, and critically important to be able to deliver the message to non-finance professionals.
- Proven ability to not only deliver but drive excellent work in a team and matrix organization.
- Excellent inter-personal communication and the ability to influence others as well as a demonstrated ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance colleagues. Negotiation skills a plus.
- Self-starter who shows initiative and quickly learns the specifics of the customer landscape and revenue growth management levers.
- Managerial courage and willingness to drive change.
- Critical thinking and curiosity.
- Strong business acumen and value creation mindset.
