POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Sr Expert IT Solution Architect, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions for Nestlé North Zone Americas. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and optimization of distributed systems, frameworks, and tools, ensuring they meet business objectives. You will lead efforts in service management, programmability, usage pipelines, and service fundamentals like monitoring, security, performance, and live site reliability. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will design and deliver innovative solutions. This is a senior, technical leadership role working with leaders and across the team on design, architecture, and delivery.

 

  • Design and implement end-to-end architectures for scalable, distributed cloud services, prioritizing security, performance, high availability, and cost-effectiveness. 
  • Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical designs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and KPIs. 
  • Develop and maintain reusable frameworks, libraries, and tools to enhance development efficiency and standardization across teams. 
  • Guide high-quality, maintainable code in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or TypeScript to prototype, validate, and optimize architectural solutions. 
  • Lead architecture and design reviews, providing technical mentorship and ensuring alignment with architectural principles and best practices. 
  • Integrate observability, fault tolerance, and scalability into all aspects of the software development lifecycle. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and engineering teams, across Nestlé’s global presence to deliver cohesive, end-to-end user experiences, driving enrichment and alignment. 
  • Drive operational excellence by supporting DevOps practices, automation, and incident resolution processes. 
  • Establish and enforce software and architectural standards, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality solutions. 
  • Continuous improvement in software quality, setting the standard for best practices.

 

 Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience 
  • 8 years of experience working as a solution architect designing and managing complex IT solutions that follow agile methodologies and leverage an API first approach   
  • 5 years of software development experience and/or influencing software application strategy   

 

 Other

  • 4 years of experience in machine learning model development, deployment, and operationalization. 
  • 3 years of experience developing SaaS applications, including cost modeling and chargeback frameworks. 
  • 3 years of experience in quality control, validating and testing peer code to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance before release.

The approximate pay range for this position is $130,000 to $180,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
