Position Summary


The Senior Human Resources Manager will lead the Human Resources efforts for our Marketing function, through effective organizational design and execution of a Human Resources strategy. Duties will include managing people and providing HR leadership for their respective client groups. This includes setting strategy, driving culture, and empowering and developing your direct report(s).
 

Responsibilities: 

•    Developing an HR team culture that empowers its team members and drives exceptional results. 
•    Building a strategic vision to bolster our DE&I efforts throughout the organization.
•    Driving the alignment and execution of key people strategies that attract, train, and retain employees to support the organization’s short and long-term business goals. 
•    Leading through Nestlé Management and Leadership and Organizational Alignment Principles. 
•    Managing the coordination and execution of workforce planning for the organization. 
•    Leverage People Analytics scorecard data to understand key opportunity areas and work to develop strategic plans to mitigate them. 
•    Overseeing/providing flawless execution of all Human Resources initiatives while acting as a catalyst of change where appropriate. 
•    Managing overall Human Resources service delivery to the business through the HR department while helping to shape the culture that facilitates and supports Nestlé’s goals and initiatives. 
•    Utilizing the performance, talent, and succession planning management systems to help drive the achievement of company goals through objective and development plan setting, performance calibration, and talent development. 
•    Providing counsel and guidance to Leadership on all people management and development and perform investigations when required. 
•    Building and maintain effective working relationships with and between managers, employees, and unions where applicable. 
•    Monitoring Employee Relations practices to ensure compliance with Corporate, Federal, State and Local rules and regulations.
•    Review employee/personnel trends to assess impact on employee morale, potential employee relations or wage/benefit issues utilizing the support of Nestlé Continuous Excellence principles.

Requirements: 

•    Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, I/O Psychology or in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
•    Must have at least 7+ years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, with current or prior management of direct reports (HR Generalists & Associate HR Generalists). 
•    Must have knowledge of Federal, State and Local employment laws, excellent investigational skills, HR technical knowledge in EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment, and worker’s compensation.
•    Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Teams) and HRIS systems.
•    Must have excellent communication (oral and written), problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
•    Ability to prioritize workloads, manage multiple tasks and ability to meet tight deadlines.
•    PHR or SHRMP-CP certification highly desired; Prior experience with SAP SuccessFactors preferred.
