This senior Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) position will serve as the head of our COE pillar, supporting our SRM team and the broader organization through the development of world-class SRM strategy, industry-leading thought leadership, acumen and skill building, broad enablement of SRM practices, and management of key third party partners.

 

This role will be responsible for:

  • Embedding SRM deeply into our organization.  Using their strong commercial expertise in conjunction with SRM expertise, this person will drive SRM practices across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other key functions and ensure three-year, one-year, and in-year planning reflect holistic SRM strategy and the right KPIs.
  • Driving industry connection.  Through share groups, conference affiliations, informal networking, and third-party support, this person will ensure we are keenly aware of what’s happening across our industry, bringing best practices to our team and ensuring a constant pipeline of actionable insights and thought leadership.
  • Liaising with our global SRM community across the center, other op cos, and other markets.
  • Owning SRM curriculum development.  Upskilling both the SRM team and the broader organization, this person will, in partnership with the right third-party partners, oversee content development and onboarding curriculum, and work across the organization with key functional groups like Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Manufacturing to embed SRM practices and skillsets across the organization.
  • Driving analytics adoption through best-in-class enablement practices.  Working with our partners in change management, communications, project management, and our SME community, this person will ensure we’re driving broad adoption of the analytics suite we’ve developed – focusing on how these tools and analytics make our jobs easier, more efficient, and more effective, and embedding them into how we work across the organization.

 

In the role you will be expected to:

  • Develop a strong sense of holistic SRM strategy.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders across the organization – driving change with a diverse set of internal stakeholders.
  • Manage complex and high value third party engagements.
  • Have deep understanding on business drivers & KPIs, and how the SRM levers directly or indirectly impact them.
  • Provide holistic, end-to-end view of the challenges and opportunities to implement and improve SRM capabilities across divisions
  • Be a high-level strategic thinker, able to manage broad projects with large groups of diverse stakeholders.
  • Drive organization culture change.
  • Be a driven self-starter, identifying opportunities and being accountable for the execution of initiatives
  • Foster a team culture of high performance, team development, and service orientation

 

As the Sr Manager, SRM, you will report to the Senior Director, SRM and will shape the SRM team’s ways of working across our organization for the foreseeable future.

 

Experience & Skills

  • 7-10 years of Business experience preferred, experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry a plus
  • 2+ years related Revenue Management experience preferred
  • MBA/post graduate education a plus but not required
  • People management experience a plus but not required
  • Strong track record in analytic or commercial marketing/sales roles, commercial acumen is key
  • Need commercial experience to guide internal conversations with Marketing/Sales/Finance and external conversations with retailers/distributors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across functions; collaborating with brand/category teams and other key internal/external stakeholders; effective in influencing wide variety of stakeholders
  • Need to understand end-to-end processes of planning to execution
  • Change Management / Communications in complex business environment 
  • Robust stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Understand the impact decisions will have on commercial landscape across the organization
  • Analytical thought partner who can determine which data is relevant to create actionable and measurable insights
  • Familiarity with multiple data sources e.g. syndicated sales data, financial data, and consumer data
