This senior Revenue Growth Management (RGM) position on the Central RGM team will support the enterprise RGM, field RGM and field selling teams by driving compliance with Nestlé Next principles and fair and equitable trade practices. This position will play a critical role in ensuring our customer teams are compliant with Nestlé Next principles, defining and establishing fair and equitable trade investment strategies across our customer portfolio and holding our RGM and field teams accountable to these measures.

 

This role will be responsible for:

  • Driving compliance with Nestlé Next principles and fair and equitable trade practices.
    • Working with RGM and field selling account teams to drive adherence to Nestlé Next trade principles.
    • Understand the impact investment decisions will have on fair and equitable trade practices within our categories, channels and customers.
    • Continuing to define and evolve future iterations of the Nestlé Next framework
  • Working cross-functionally with sales, legal, credit, and supply chain to evolve our processes around deductions, fees and fines.
    • Evolving Nestlé Next reporting and analytics to give visibility to compliance and potential issues.
    • Solving fundamental structural issues with practices that will help to drive resolution with customers on policy vs. policy issues with customers.
    • Educating cross-functional teams and stakeholders on best practices with customers and internal teams to look to improve Nestlé Next compliance.
  • Development and distribution of Nestlé Next scorecard metrics to Sales, RGM and division leadership.
  • Serving as the technical expert for Nestlé Next principles and fair and equitable trade practices.

 

In this role you will be expected to:

  • Drive visibility and resolution to Nestlé Next compliance issues.
  • Drive visibility and adherence to fair and equitable trade practices within our customer management teams.
  • Work with legal to continue to define fair and equitable trade practices with customers.
  • Own driving a culture of compliance and good partnership between our field selling teams and customers.
  • Be a driven self-starter, identifying opportunities and being accountable for the execution of the initiatives
  • Escalate compliance risks to RGM and sales leadership.

 

 

The Senior Manager role will report to the Director of Enterprise RGM and Trade Governance

 

 

 

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 8 years of business experience preferred, experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry a plus.
  • MBA/post graduate education a plus but not required
  • Strong track record in analytic or commercial sales/marketing roles required, commercial acumen is key
  • Drives confidence and momentum by providing the context and data / insights for others to think, decide and act
  • Understanding of one or more of: tool development, syndicated data, promotional effectiveness, sales finance
  • Familiarity with multiple data sources e.g. syndicated sales data, financial data, and consumer data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across functions; collaborating with brand/category teams and other key internal/external stakeholders; effective in influencing wide variety of stakeholders
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and systems aptitude
  • Need commercial experience (finance and/or sales) to guide internal conversations with sales/finance and external conversations with distributors/retailers
  • Need to understand end-to-end processes of planning to execution, including navigation of systems landscape
  • Change Management in complex business environment 
  • This role requires robust stakeholder management and negotiation skills, responsible for making decisions around margin management
  • Understands the impact decisions will have on commercial landscape across the NUSA organization
  • Analytical thought partner who can determine which data is relevant to create actionable and measurable insights

Salary: $156,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year
