Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, you will lead, develop and inspire a team of Business Intelligence managers, leads and analysts responsible for the development and maintenance of a comprehensive portfolio of reports, dashboards and data management processes to support business decisions across Nestlé’s Sales Organization.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advanced Analytics

  • Deliver business value through effective reporting and advanced insights by driving excellence in the execution of business intelligence projects
  • Collect, document and analyze business requirements and translate them into tangible reporting deliverables with a clearly defined acceptance criterion
  • Ensure projects and initiatives assigned to the team are aligned with must-win priorities and meet or exceed stakeholder expectations
  • Follow advances in the analytics space that can be implemented at Nestlé and constantly look for ways to increase the contribution of the BI team to the organization

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a Sales Analytics advisor and strong change leader to drive adoption of reporting solutions that support Nestlé’s Sales Organization’s strategic direction
  • Partner with stakeholders to determine key performance indicators that are critical to monitor and evaluate strategic business initiatives
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and SLAs based on technical feasibility, resource constraints and conflicting priorities
  • Partner with IT and Enterprise Analytics groups to design and implement a comprehensive, accurate, governed and performing data platform that acts as the foundation of reporting decision support solutions
  • Represent Sales organization in the definition of a comprehensive data strategy as part of Nestlé’s digital transformation 
  • Assist Enable Hub leadership to define the vision and roadmap of the team 

People Leadership

  • Guide career development by providing coaching, training and experiences that allow each member of your team to thrive at Nestlé
  • Participate in the recruitment of new Sales Enable Hub members by assessing the skillset, experience and cultural fit of candidates
  • Create a working environment where creativity is the norm, innovation is rewarded and agility is a core principle
  • Ensure that team has a common vision, sense of purpose and understanding of how their individual work contributes to the larger purpose

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8+ years’ experience in Advanced Analytics & Reporting for Marketing, Sales & Forecasting or Category Management within CPG
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics/Statistics or another related major field of study
  • Extensive experience leading and developing advanced reporting solutions in Power BI, Business Objects 
  • Proficient knowledge of Data Management and Data Modeling in Azure using DAX, SQL or scripting languages like R or Python
  • Experience generating market share insights from syndicated data sources like IRI, Nielsen
  • Project management experienceExcels at supporting storylines with visuals to communicate insights rather than data as part of dashboards and Power Point decks
