Nestlé Regional Globe Office North America, Inc. seeks multiple Sr Specialist Applications Development in Arlington, VA
Duties: Ensure the architecture of Nestlé's Azure Data Warehouse complies with IT strategy and system architecture best practices at all times. Responsible for designing, building, testing, and delivering data pipelines to enhance the Azure Data Lake using structured data sources. Develop forward-thinking IT blueprints. Support the integration of solutions with various technologies. Provide the product team with technical expertise, advising on best technology solutions, translating the business vision into technical vision. Participate in the development of and review of standards, documentation, and methods of working in the relevant area of expertise. Collaborate with Product Owners and Data Engineers to drive alignment and acceptance of the enterprise architecture. Ensure the security of data by maintaining the integrity and performance of databases and guaranteeing that data is stored securely and optimally. Work with IT innovation managers, product managers, tech Leads, solution architects and business analysts to ensure any solution within their specific specialism fits with strategic and technical direction. Create design documentation and code delivery. Telework is available up to 2 days per week.
Requirements:
Job requires Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems or a related field plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Analysis role. Required experience must include all of the following:
- 6 years of experience leading technical evaluations;
- 6 years of experience in utilizing Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban;
- 5 years of experience working with Azure Cloud technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Python, Spark SQL, Azure Data Bricks, or Azure Analysis Service (AAS);
- 5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing analytics platforms using Azure Cloud architecture with structured data;
- 5 years of experience working with Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Functions, or Azure Synapse Serverless;
- 4 years of experience developing analytical solutions for business function;
- 3 years of experience in stakeholder management;
- 2 years of experience working with SCALA;
- 2 years of experience in building and delivering Azure DevOps models using automation and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines; and
- 1 year of experience working with GCP.
Work Location: 1812 N Moore Street, Arlington, VA 22209. Telework is available up to 2 days per week.
