The Senior Specialist of Change Management will play a vital role in supporting organizational change initiatives across the enterprise. As a member of the Transformation Team, you will be contributing in the development and implementation of change management strategies, plans, and lead activities to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies. The focus of this role will be on effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the change process.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and assess potential risks and impacts of change and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the development and execution of change management strategies and plans to support the successful implementation of business transformation initiatives.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of change management training programs and materials, with a focus on equipping employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to change.
- Support the development and implementation of communication plans to ensure timely and effective communication of change initiatives to all stakeholders.
- Create communication key messages and collateral to aid leaders and stakeholders in building understanding of key aspects of the change.
- Identify and engage key stakeholders to build support and alignment for change initiatives.
- Execute change impact assessments to identify potential areas of resistance and assist in developing strategies to address them. Prepare and facilitate Change Impacts assessment workshops.
- Provide support and guidance to project teams and leaders on change management best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management activities and provide recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting change readiness and resilience across the organization.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in change management and proactively apply them to enhance change initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, psychology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 4 or more years of proven experience in change management, preferably in a business transformation or organizational change context.
- Strong knowledge of change management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Experience developing communications strategies, key messages, communication plans, and communication collateral.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential barriers to change.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with cross-functional teams and leaders.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to contribute to the successful completion of change initiatives.
- Experience in facilitating workshops or training sessions on change management topics.
- Familiarity with content development software (e.g., Articulate, video editing) is a plus.
- Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is a plus.
