Position Summary

This position will support the NUSA Beverage Division, reporting into the Sr. Demand and Supply Chain Manager.  This position is the key liaison between Concurrent Planning, Demand Planning, Customer Facing Supply Chain, and CMI with responsibility for driving continuous Service Level improvement for our Top 6 customers. This role will apply analytical techniques to project future sales using tools such as statistical modeling, customer promotional inputs, consumption trends, customer POS information, and other commercial & financial impactors. Collaborate with CFSC CPFR Analysts to gather customer insight to improve customer KPIs, Interacts with ST Supply Planner to identify gaps in everyday business process that result in service opportunities and drive immediate actions to avoid customer service failure. Recommends demand adjustments to Demand Planner to support shifts in customer inventory or safety stock levels, changes.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regularly monitor fill rates and supply disruptions for Top 6 Customers. Coordinate root cause analysis and trend identification to drive long-term improvements, partnering with all layers of the Supply Chain and Customer support teams.
  • Looks at the health on shelf of the Customer (COF by Customer, Segment, DC), and provides those insights to Demand Planning teams to enhance weekly forecasts
  • Use analytical skills and end-to-end knowledge to link together siloed tools/data to identify trends and enhance views needed to support Customer Service E2E and information flow upstream
  • Coordinates and facilitates cross-functional meetings with Customer Planning, Forecasting, & Replenishment (CPFR) and CMI teams to share insights on supply chain performance and to gather Customer insights to share back to planning teams. 
  • Develops and lead short-term projects related to continuous service improvement, cost savings initiatives, and other Ensure Supply objectives related to the Customer. Responsible to share learnings with other Network Customer Planners.
  • Network lead for Customer Segmentation development and practices
  • CPFR focused on improving the Customer’s Supply Plan (order forecast), directly with Customer replenishment team
  • 8-week demand sensing horizon
  • Drives accuracy improvement YoY, Reduction in Fines, OTIF issue identification and resolution, improved Speed to improve Service to the Customer
  • Communication – Need to be able to explain back upstream what happened/is happening to understand re-order timing, impact to planning
  • Partners with CPFR on key customers – CPFR responsible to tell Customer what happened, why they cut. Give additional insights above cut reason coding on why we cut.
  • Weekly – At WOR, review prior week’s performance, hold planners accountable.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • BA/BS required. MBA/MS desirable. Coursework in a combination of 2 years Economics, Marketing, Computer Science, Supply Chain and Statistics desirable.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 4-6 years of relevant work experience in consumer goods order management, warehouse management, operations/engineering, or Demand/Supply Analytics desirable. Strong analytical aptitude with a shown ability to analyze/interpret data and build quantitative models of business problems.
  • Broad knowledge in planning processes: demand planning, supply planning, new product introduction, material planning, and S&OP process.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis through data, process, training, and integration layers.
  • Experience utilizing SAP and OMP Demand and Supply Planning software desirable Advanced knowledge of known business software: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI desirable.
