Position Summary

As a Business Systems Expert you’ll be part of the Commercial Product Assembly team within Local NUSA IT. You will be supporting the formulation of the Commercial Product Assembly team’s strategy, its implementation and providing top notch tools/solutions to our business partner’s. You will be the subject matter expert regarding applications supporting sales, marketing, and enablement teams, while documenting business requirements in support of the product vision. You will ensure deep understanding of opportunities and issues facing business functions and provide advises on the best system solutions. Also, translate business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into IT product requirements and plays a key role within the Product Assembly Team to specify, test and deploy those as IT solutions.


Job responsibilities

  • Identify the use of Agile practices to decompose complex requirements into features and user stories with acceptance criteria that can be understood by development teams.
  • Develop a shared understanding of business outcomes with team members and stakeholders to effectively delivery value.
  • Work closely with business SMEs and development team members to refine backlog items to get them ready to start development. Prioritize to support incremental delivery of phased solutions.
  • Engage with technical and non-technical team members with greater focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing, contributing towards building an Agile team and improve flow.
  • Liaison as the point of contact with developers to review progress, outputs and conduct functional and User Acceptance Tests with QA and Business.
  • Ensures that near-term needs are assessed by using structured interview processes and consumer research methods to understand opportunities and help business establish priorities.
  • Understands technology trends and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models
  • Provides recommendations on how to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and delivery of services using technology
  • Oversees the delivery of training to the end users, deployment, and support teams
  • Consults with product owners to define the minimum viable product (MVP) that satisfies the business need

 

Required Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience within Informational Technology and/or Business field

 

Preferred Requirements

  • 5+ years of Sales experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Computer Science or related field 
  • Strong experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using design thinking methodology and developing user stories
  • Experience with SQL, Microsoft office tools, (Azure Devops, Jira)
  • Certification in CBAP, CCBA, CSM, CSPO, CSP and/or ITIL is a plus
