Position Summary
This role will be located in Arlington but are open to candidates based in Solon, OH or other Nestlé HQ locations in the United States. This position reports to the Manager, People Insights and supports the US HR People Analytics strategy, insights delivery, and is entrusted with access to confidential personnel data.
The mission of the People Insights team is to provide data-driven insights and strategic direction regarding our people and culture that are compelling and actionable to business leaders. More specifically the team is responsible for advanced analytics, employee listening, strategic workforce planning, internal and external benchmarking, and data storytelling to fuel HR and business strategy.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pull, compile, arrange, and analyze data from multiple sources to produce insights with workforce information.
- Analyze and derive meaning from people-related data to help business partners make informed data-driven decisions.
- Create and administer surveys using internal software, including coding and analyzing responses from employee surveys.
- Consult with HR on insights, measurement, and data storytelling best practices.
- Fulfilling HR customers’ ad-hoc data and analysis requests.
- Support key People Insights team projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Analyze and identify trends in reports and dashboards to assist in insights delivery, problem solving, and analysis.
- Design and develop data insights presentations, dashboards, and scorecards through translation of stakeholder needs into data-driven solutions.
- Train others on how to use People Analytics solutions.
- REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics (or related field) or equivalent experience required; equivalent experience defined as at least 4 years of relevant, professional-level working experience in the same or similar field
- Ability to handle highly confidential HR information in professional manner
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a corporate or HR environment.
- Prior knowledge of handling HR data is strongly preferred.
- Experience in Power BI or Tableau is strongly preferred.
- Experience in R, Python, or other statistical software is a plus.
- Experience in Qualtrics or other survey software is a plus.
- Workforce planning knowledge and experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
SKILLS:
- Proven ability to work with a variety of computer systems (SAP, SuccessFactors, Microsoft suite, HRIS)
- Strong technical competency and ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Excellent analytics ability with a focus on analyzing, interpreting, and extracting insights from large amounts of data, and developing recommendations & improvement opportunities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address all levels within the organization
- Team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong initiative to identify and implement process improvements
