Position Summary

 

As Senior Associate Brand Manager, Base Business in our Global Brands Division you will be the base business owner and leader of for our fastest growing brand, and one of Nestle largest brand’s – Maggi. In this role, you will be responsible for driving brand performance, growing categories, building brand equity and ultimately increasing market share by activating against distinctive consumer insights, knowing the Maggi consumer deeply. This role will grow the business aggressively by creating engaging brand experiences and will set the brand’s long term business strategies in partnership with the Brand Manager while interacting with cross-functional partners to lead planning and implementation. A high sense of curiosity, collaboration and urgency across sales, consumer insights, shopper marketing, operations, product development and finance daily will be the keys to success!

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Use consumer, shopper and marketplace data to support defining and implementing the brand’s short-term (1 year) and long-term (3+year) strategies
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement and execute the integrated commercial plan through the fiscal year with a constant focus on measuring progress and results with KPIs and reacting accordingly to fuel the business
  • Own and lead the Monthly Business Planning Process to deliver the year
  • Prepare, present and sell-in the brand strategy to management, cross-functional partners and external stakeholders to expand the business and execute the integrated commercial plan.
  • Partner with the Brand Manager in building and implementing a 3-year consumer centric brand plan to drive and/or sustain long-term brand health including equity, awareness and engagement
  • In collaboration with cross-functional and external experts, lead base innovation and renovation projects including new idea generation and validation, commercialization strategies and plans and channel- or customer-specific opportunities
  • Use syndicated and custom data sources to support developing a deeper understanding of the demographics, psychographics, and behavioral drivers of our consumers across the country; diving into demand landscape for the consumer/brand by utilization of digital insight tools.
  • Manage brand projects and assignments in a way that demonstrates an understanding of key insights and an ability to activate them in relevant renovation activities and other initiatives.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA Preferred
  • Experience and fluency with IRI or Nielsen platforms and data
  • Experience in leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company, strongly preferred
  • Experience presenting strategies and making recommendations to senior management
