Position Summary
Within Nestlé Waters business, in this role you will be dedicated to effective management of stock allocation process based on market' priority (Italy) to maximize service level to customers.
In this role you will also support the Supply Network of the assigned area of the business by replenishing each dispatch point to meet customer service objectives whilst maintaining optimal stock cover that considers the distribution costs.
A day in the life of…
-Demand Management Specialist:
- Ensure an effective stock allocation during promotions activities in alignment with the commercial plan
- Responsible for the correct application of reason codes
- Leverage the system functionalities available for an efficient and automated stock allocation process, such as product allocation, stock reservations, sales order optimization, back-order processing etc.
-Supply Distribution Planning:
- Support the planning and optimization of mixed loads, taking transportation constraints into consideration and assisting the team in identifying efficient solutions.
- Assist in the analysis and evaluation of the supply plan, helping ensure alignment with customer needs and the complexity of the distribution network.
- Support inventory monitoring activities, contributing to the balance between product availability and inventory cost optimization to maintain the right materials in the right locations.
- Collaborate in the daily management of the supply plan, contributing to monitoring activities and flagging potential stock-out risks.
What will make you successful?
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to details
- Ideally, 6 months of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain, with a strong passion for planning and operations
- Proficient in Excel - SAP and Power BI knowledge is a plus
- Strong communication skills and high service orientation level and a proactive approach
- Fluent in both Italian and English
