Position Summary
Are you a talented ISIT Junior Technology Specialist ready to join Nestlé’s new Workforce 360 Collaboration, Content and Portal Services team in Milan, Italy?  We need your knowledge and expertise to support our collaboration applications and technologies, as part of the continuous value delivery of our Products in the Europe region and worldwide. You are part of the team responsible for products like Social and Collaboration tools (Workplace by Meta, Viva Engage and Microsoft Teams) and other Productivity Tools like Microsoft 365 Office Apps used by nearly 300.000 of our employees. Work with other technology specialists, to support today’s collaboration technologies while constantly delivering tomorrow’s innovations to our workforce.  


A Day in the Life of an IS/IT Junior Technology Specialist:

  • Assist with providing specialist consulting, guidance, and support for at least three of the products managed by your team: Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, Planner, Forms, Sway, Delve), Social Collaboration (Viva Engage, Stream, intranet), and Microsoft 365 Office Apps (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
  • Assist in monitoring IS/IT service partners to ensure they provide the necessary service levels, system performance, and functionality to support business operations.
  • Assist with support processes including incident, problem, change, and configuration management, working closely with product or platform teams
  • Support the technical activity (design, build, testing) in significant or complex innovation initiatives of the product teams for the quality delivery of new technoligies
  • Support to deliver efficient, secure and compliant IS/IT systems that fulfil the business needs 
  • Support the implementation and management of IS/IT quality and efficiency improvements.

 

What else will make you successful?

  • Have theoretical and on the job experience on at least three of the following technologies: Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, Planner, Forms, Sway, Delve), Social Collaboration (Viva Engage, Stream, intranet), and Microsoft 365 Office Apps (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel). 
  • Excellent English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, face-to-face and remote 
  • Proven ability working in Agile project teams, providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks that take account of technical and architectural needs
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working in industry user groups with key technology partners 
  • Strong Understanding the practical application of technology trends, leading industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester)s and new evolving business models.
