IS/IT Business Analyst - Global

  • 10+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area. Project management experience. Business experience in a relevant function is beneficial.

Position Summary

Are you a talented IS/IT Business Analyst ready to join Nestlé’s new Workforce 360 Connectivity, Voice and Conferencing team in Milan, Italy?  You will serve as a liaison between IS/IT & Business Consumers and Customers. As part of the Product Team, you will be bringing deep understanding to the opportunities and issues facing your business function and advising on the best solutions.
You will be able to translate business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into IS/IT product requirements. You will play a key role within the product team to specify, test and deploy these as IS/IT solutions.You will be responsible for establishing the right processes and process optimization framework for the Product Group organization.
 

A day in the life of a Business Analyst

  • Develop, motivate and direct staff belonging to business and IS/IT to understand the business needs. Help staff to identify pain points and the best solution that will both align with the customer objectives and the IS/IT strategy. 
  • Support the Product Manager and Business Relationship Manager (BRM) in developing the strategy through innovation and incremental improvement of the product.
  • Support the analysis and resolution of solution issues.
  • Design business scenarios and use cases for the product mix, including product introduction, specification and the change management required to maximize its adoption and value.
  • Work with IS/IT Product Managers to define the minimum viable product (MVP) that satisfies the business need and provides the desired value.
  • Research market trends, Understand user journeys, Reveal user behaviors and pain points.
  • Identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation.
  • Responsible for identifying security & compliance requirements, including roles, associated with the business process and ensure that they are considered in the solution design.
  • Assess near-term needs, using structured interview processes and consumer research methods, to understand opportunities and help the business establish priorities. Consult with product teams and propose alternative solutions. Advise on options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on other business processes and product priorities.
  • Evaluates the products against specifications and requirements to ensure that they deliver the necessary functionality and value.
  • Document training materials for the product area and train end users, deployment and support teams.
  • Works extensively with product managers & technical teams team members to ensure the implementation of the enhancements fulfill the product vision.
  • Work with team to develop design and process flows for executive leadership for strategic decision making.
  • Technical document writing expertise.
  • Maintain ongoing communication to gain buy-in and ensure alignment with the global regions.

What will make you successful

  • Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using design thinking methodology
  • Strong understanding of basic system engineering, information risk, security guidelines and architecture standards
  • Understanding of business processes and ability to translate it into products requirements
  • Deep understanding of the IT landscape in the functional area
  • Project management experience
  • Work with direct and virtual team
  • Work with cross-functional partners to strengthen product controls, compliance, and risk environment
  • Work with internal and external subject matter experts ( Vendor, Gartner..)
  • Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
  • Excellent English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, and mediums (face-to-face and remote)
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in using PowerPoint and Visio tools
