Position Summary

Are you passionate about managing global IT projects and programs in a challenging business environment? This position will be within the Connectivity, Voice and Conferencing (CVC) group and be responsible for managing projects and programs in line with the organisation’s IT strategy. This role will require good communication and key stakeholder management skills across global teams based in different locations. You will ensure consistent adoption of project management framework across within the product streams to maximize delivery of business value and value for money.

A day in the life of...

  • Work with key stakeholders and your Product Group Manager and Product Managers to define and structure global programs and projects 
  • Ensure project management methodology, tools and templates are consistently applied within your product group
  • Ensure regular communication with all product groups and project management peers
  • Provide regular project and program updates to all key stakeholders
  • Provide ongoing program and project management mentoring and coaching support to assist implementation of programs and projects, working closely with project sponsors, product and platform managers, and other relevant team members to increase knowledge and elevate performance through one-on-one coaching
  • Drive alignment across geographically dispersed colleagues to work as one team
  • Provides budget planning and benefit realization for the engagements being managed 
  • Assist the CVC Operations Managers to track and manage dependencies across multiple projects; lead escalation processes to make issues visible to stakeholders and leadership; drive resolution of dependency issues through the agreed process
  • Ensure that risk and compliance frameworks are adhered to within the group
     

What will make you successful

  • Master or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Sciences or Engineering, Information Systems, business administration or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in a combination of project and program management, information and IS/IT jobs
  • Expertise in working with multiple diverse technologies, managing diverse IT projects and programs, and a good understanding of project management framework 
  • Demonstrated experience in conferencing and contact center solutions implementation projects 
  • Demonstrated experience in cloud solution implementation projects 
  • Previous experience with IT Finance procesess & reporting
  • Ability to analyze complex finance data
  • Experience in finance management and benefit realization
  • Experience in developing the cost of ownership model to assist with purchasing decisions.
  • Coordinate the development and simulation of new Chargeback & financial process or operational flows
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance to achieve key metrics
  • Program and project governance experience demonstrating deep subject matter expertise in managing complex programs and projects
  • Certification in project management (e.g. PMP, Prince2, SCRUM, SaFe Agile) will be an advantage
  • Excellent English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, and mediums (face-to-face and remote) 
  • Excellent financial understanding of CAPEX vs OPEX & Budgeting activity
  • Proven ability to support Agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on portfolio management
  • Demonstrated personal commitment to change through actions and words
  • Above-average organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and financial analysis skills, and familiarity with financial reporting tools
  • Highly empathetic and able to vary styles of interaction to match the needs of a variety of business and technical audiences, as well as temperaments and personalities
  • Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams
