Position Summary

Are you a talented Technology Expert ready to join Nestlé’s new IT Platform Connectivity, Voice and Conferencing team in Milan, Italy?  Under the guidance of the Senior Product Manager, we need you to bring deep technology expertise and knowledge to the product team. We need you to promote optimal use of technology to support the cost effective delivery of business requirements within the area of Voice and Conferencing solutions.
Working at the leading edge of IS/IT for the product or platform, the Technology Expert performs preliminary studies, helping to set the technological direction with the product manager.  To support delivery and sustain of the most complex applications and business capabilities for Voice and Conferencing solutions, and will be accountable for specific deliverables in relation to development or support within the area of specialty.

A day in the life of...
  • Manage adoption, design, and integration of Voice and Conferencing solutions architecture with DevOps teams and suppliers for the optimal delivery of the expected business value.
  • Manage large and complex cloud and on-prem conferencing platform configurations, by administering the portals, executing scripts and policies
  • Interact with different international teams (Network, Exchange, AAD, Security, Risk & Compliance, etc.) and external partners to plan and execute changes
  • Manage changes in Data Center, planning activities and requirements with other teams and external partners and manage the communications
  • Plan and execute structured tests on video conferencing endpoints, platforms, interoperability services
  • Run, extract and elaborate reports and analytics and explain results to various stakeholders
  • Create or update official documentation based on the changes implemented
  • Follow the standard Nestlé IT process flows for the assigned activities to get official approvals
  • Create and troubleshoot network,
  • Troubleshoot firewall and proxy settings impacting the correct media paths
  • Supervise design and execute the integration, in collaboration with our Platform Integration team, to ensure each product or solution has a properly defined architecture specification (design, diagrams, process maps, governance, and compliance)
  • Facilitate evaluation and selection of new software products and services, in close collaboration with the business and IS/IT, to accurately capture business requirements and pain points
  • Identify the financial and organizational impact of the solution architecture
  • Provide consulting and design assistance to the business and product owners
  • Facilitate cloud designs and migration plans
What will make you successful
  • Certified on or expertise working with multiple, diverse technologies, services and processing environments including Microsoft Skype for Business, enterprise voice technologies,  Microsoft Teams, Zoom, enterprise video solutions.
  • Excellent English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, and mediums (face-to-face and remote)
  • Proven expertise in the areas of enterprise voice solutions, SIP voice solutions, enterprise video conferencing like Cisco Telepresence, PexipInteroperability platforms, ecosystem solutions around audio and video conferencing including analytics, monitoring and performance management.
  • Understanding and knowledge in the area of Microsoft Azure Domain services.
  • 5+ Years’ experience in Voice and Conferencing solution activities across a large number of sites
  • Understanding and knowledge of common AV components and integration / UX aspects
  • Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as agile software development, rapid prototyping and DevOps, project management principles)
  • Understanding and knowledge of IS/IT standards and controls
  • Ability to understand the financial impact of technology alternatives, financial models and budgeting
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of existing, new and emerging technologies that enable and drive new business designs and models
  • Valid work permit for the European Union
