Position Summary

 

Are you a talented Tech Lead ready to join Nestlé’s Workforce 360 Collaboration, Content & Portal Services Product team in Milan, Italy?  We need you to be responsible for the technical vision of the Team and Social Collaboration Products, providing leadership, facilitation, analysis and design requirements. You also facilitate and orchestrate the agile and incremental delivery of targeted business outcomes in a DevOps mode. In this role, you animate the technical discussions and share within your team and across teams, participate in sketching sessions with the behavioral specialists, product managers and business analysts, coach younger technology experts, and partner with operations to improve the continuous delivery pipeline. You also implement the designs proposed by Solution Architects and taste-tested with IS/IT Consumers.

A day in the life of...

 

  • Contribute to value delivery plans to meet the objectives, typically in sync with Product Managers, Enterprise Architects and Business Analysts;
  • Oversee and facilitate the research, evaluation and selection of technology and product standards, as well as the design of standard configurations;
  • Drive innovation by leveraging new technologies to renovate, extend and transform our existing core technology base and IT landscape;
  • Understand, advocate and augment the business and IT strategies including Enterprise Architecture (EA) development and product delivery;
  • Apply DevOps practices and take responsibility for key design and integration decisions for systems, tools, processes and practices;
  • Contribute to the strategy for using technology and tools to achieve continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) for Team and Social Collaboration services;
  • Lead the analysis of technology industry and market trends and recommend solutions that improve our Product’s positive contributions to the enterprise technology architecture and the value to the our business;
  • Oversee or consult on technology implementation and evolution activities particularly for new or shared solutions with the Architecture Community.
What will make you successful

 

  • Demonstrated experience in a product-based IT organization;
  • 8+ years technical design, implementation, and leadership experience in a global IT virtual team using Agile methodologies;
  • Certified on and/or deep expertise working as a technical and development consultant for enterprise solutions including Workplace by Facebook or Microsoft solutions, in particular Office 365 and SharePoint Online;
  • Experience leading a cross-functional team in an IS/IT delivery context, in a global environment with virtual team members and outsourced entities;
  • Proven ability to define Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and experience delivering them rapidly and with a high rate of IT consumer adoption;
  • Strong experience of development life cycle methodologies (paper-based design, agile software development, rapid prototyping, lean start-up, KANBAN and DevOps);
  • Experience in working with IT consumers, translating requirements and opportunities into solutions and taste-testing minimum viable products (A/B testing, etc.);
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments;
  • Curious about new technology, willingness to experiment;
  • Strong English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, and mediums (face-to-face and remote).
