  • Experience defining knowledge management solutions including applying best practices in terms of information architecture (data governance, content models, taxonomies and metadata) is required;
  • Expertise creating IT governance frameworks/models for the Digital Workplace, including intranet and portals governance and strategy is required;
  • Office 365 solutions expertise, specifically in SharePoint Online as a functional, technical and development consultant;
  • Effective English communication.
Position Summary

 

Are you a talented Tech Lead ready to join Nestlé’s Workforce 360 Collaboration, Content and Portal Services Product team in Milan, Italy?  We need you to be responsible for the technical vision of the Content and Portal Services Product and provide the leadership, facilitation, analysis and design requirements for this product. You will also facilitate and orchestrate across teams the agile and incremental delivery of targeted business outcomes in a DevOps mode. In this role, you animate the technical discussions and sharing within your team and across teams, participate in sketching sessions with the behavioral specialist, product manager and business analyst, coach younger technology experts, and partner with operations to improve the continuous delivery pipeline. You also implement the designs proposed by Solution Architects and taste-tested with IS/IT Consumers.

A day in the life of...

 

  • Contribute to value delivery plans and product roadmaps to meet the objectives, typically in sync with Product Managers, Enterprise Architects and Business Analysts;
  • Oversee and facilitate the research, evaluation and selection of technology and product standards, as well as the design of standard configuration;
  • Drive innovation by leveraging new technologies to renovate, extend and transform our existing core technology base and IT landscape;
  • Understand, advocate and augment the business and IT strategies including Enterprise Architecture (EA) development and product delivery;
  • Apply DevOps practices and take responsibility for key design and integration decisions for systems, tools, processes and practices; 
  • Contribute to the strategy for using technology and tools to achieve continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) for Content and Portal Services;
  • Lead the analysis of technology industry and market trends and recommend solutions that improve our Product’s positive contribution to the enterprise technology architecture and the value to our business;
  • Oversee, or consults on, technology implementation and evolution activities particularly for new or shared solutions with the Architecture Community.
What will make you successful

 

  • Demonstrated experience in:
  • A product-based IS/IT organization with responsibilities for solution; 
  • Using hybrid IS/IT principles to deliver fit for purpose integration products and solutions;
  • 8+ years technical design, implementation, and leadership experience in a global IT virtual team using Agile methodologies; 
  • Office 365 solutions expertise, specifically in SharePoint Online as a functional, technical and development consultant. Expertise implementing ServiceNow Service Portal and Knowledge Base are a plus;
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Search technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Conversational Bots applied to knowledge/content management solutions is a big plus (e.g Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services or Microsoft Bots Framework);
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and the lastest web development technologies is an advantage;
  • Experience leading a cross-functional team in an IS/IT delivery context, in a global environment with virtual team members and outsourced entities;
  • Proven ability to define Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and experience delivering them rapidly and with a high rate of IS/IT consumer adoption;
  • Strong experience of development life cycle methodologies (paper-based design, agile software development, rapid prototyping, lean start-up, KANBAN and DevOps);
  • Experience in working with IT consumers, understanding requirements and opportunities and translating them into solutions and taste-testing minimum viable products (A/B testing, etc.);
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments;
  • Deep understanding of DevOps;
  • Deep functional knowledge enabling to carry the technical vision;
  • Curious about new technology, willingness to experiment;
  • Strong English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, and mediums (face-to-face and remote).
