Position Summary
In this role you will work with the Business Partnering team in the Service and Indirect Materials category and interact with stakeholders at all levels, whilst enabling internal and external exposure to demonstrate your ability to influence & engage cross functionally.
You will have the opportunity to work with Procurement local and Global Teams and with external suppliers and be part of project teams adding value back into the business.
A day in the life of a Junior Procurement Specialist
- Support Procurement and Business Partners and Buyer to implement sourcing plans
- Analysis of Procurement processes and KPIS, vendors and invoicing procedures
- Perform operations to ensure compliance to procurement Policy
- Maintain strong relationship within Stakeholders, Procurements Team, specifications, costing and other business needs (national and international stakeholders)
- Contract and Vendor Management
- Supply Relation Ship management (SRM)
- Negotiation & analysis support working together with Business Partners and Buyer
What will make you successful
- At least 6 months/ 1 year experience in Procurement or Supply Chain
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convince others
- Open minded to challenges
- Knowledge of SAP system and experience in the area of Procurement will be an additional advantage
- Project management
- Curiosity and interest to procurement processes in dynamics Supply Chain and manufacturing;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel (macro, power query), PowerPoint, Power BI.
