Position Summary
In this role you will manage warehouse operations and delivery service network together with Nespresso Logistics Team and third-party logistics providers. The goal is providing outstanding delivery services to our customers across the different channels, meeting quality standards, maximizing process efficiency and minimizing costs.
A day in the life of a Logistic Specialist
- Manage & control daily inbound and outbound activities on delivery service network
- Manage & optimize operations activities at warehouse level
- Manage third-party logistics providers focusing on performances, promoting a continuous improvement approach
- Create effective relationships and efficient communication flows with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Analyze Order & Delivery KPIs to highlight issues, trends and improvement areas, in order to guarantee Nespresso Supply Chain targets achievement
- Lead regular Operational Reviews with external suppliers to create and monitor projects and action plans
- Support the team with analysis and reports, aggregating data from multiple sources and managing large amounts of qualitative and quantitative information to provide action-driven insights
- Promote innovation, identifying market trends and opportunities and managing their implementation in our operations network
- Proactively collaborate with all Nespresso Logistics Team in order to guarantee full alignment and efficiency among the entire Supply Chain
What will make you successful
- 1-2 years of professional experience in Logistics
- Master’s degree, specialization in Management Engineering (preferably Supply Chain)
- Experience in third-party logistics management
- Positive forward-looking approach, problem solving attitude
- Data-driven and solution-orientation mindset
- Accuracy, attention to details and excellent work organization
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and good experience with BI tools
- Good communication and analytical skills
