Position Summary

Reporting to the Finance & Controlling Director, the primary responsibility of the role is to co-pilot the marketing teams to better support PFME resource allocations, thereby ensuring a good evaluation and prioritization of all marketing activities and activations. It is essential to support value creation by identifying investment opportunities in line with the strategic direction of the business. Additionally, one must drive and support the business on PFME/Allowances budget allocations for coffee and accessories activities, such as promotions, free goods, events, and media, by providing insights and strongly supporting a fact-based decision-making process. Building business plans and defining ways to identify gaps and opportunities to optimize investments is also crucial. Finally, the Marketing Controller is responsible for consolidating marketing activities and integrating them into the budgeting and forecasting process.

 

A Day in the Life of a Marketing Controller

  • Ensure effective allocation of resources in Generating Demand Support to maximise transparency of trade and PFME spend whilst maintaining internal control.
  • Optimise marketing investments (ROI): Ensure that group pre/post promotion evaluation strategy is established, rolled out and central learning logs are up-to-date and leveraged. Ensure practices and procedures are in place to determine if Nestle performance is in line with contractual agreements.
  • Preparation, analysis and communication of specific sales and TTS reporting and involvement in all GD reporting from group control. Linking actuals with DF and risk/opportunities identified.
  • Drive reporting development, standardisation and transition to Business Analytics solutions for PFME Management.
  • Actively engage in ensuring the best return on investment for Subscription and Loyalty mechanics.
  • Custodian of internal controls and assurance that promotional practices & mechanics comply with internal and external guidelines.
  • Be the ambassador (co-pilot) between the finance community and marketings teams to ensure transparency, alignment and proactive collaboration.
  • Leverage a global community of marketing co-pilots and learnings from other markets.
  • Coach marketing teams to increase their ownership and control of commercial spend.
