Position Summary

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand & Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting customer demand, aligning supply plans to meet business objectives, and ensuring product availability across the supply chain. You will play a key role in balancing inventory levels, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.

 

A day in the life of Demand & Supply Planner

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales input.
  • Translate demand plans into supply requirements to ensure product availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, including service levels, forecast accuracy, and inventory turnover.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, retail planners, and logistics teams to align supply and demand plans.
  • Manage inventory levels across the network, ensuring timely replenishment and product flow.
  • Identify supply chain risks and opportunities and implement mitigation or improvement actions.
  • Support new product launches, promotions, and phase-outs with aligned demand and supply strategies.
  • Participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Utilize planning tools and ERP systems to manage forecasts, supply plans, and inventory data.
