Position Summary

You will have the opportunity to support the Digital Team in implementing the brand strategy in the Digital & E-commerce environment, on both upper and lower funnel activities, and the chance to really look at the Digital Environment with a 360 view: from content, to media, to business.
You will work on a large set of premium brands of petfood, managing different internal and external stakholders (marketing, IT, agencies, etc). Your main focus will be on managing consumer engagement activities, CRM activities and content both on Purina.it and our communities. With a consumer first approach and a test&learn mindset you will work to continuously improve our digital performance and reach our goals.

A day in the life of Purina Digital Consumer Experience intern

  • Support the ideation and implementation of consumer engagement journeys, ensuring their activation across multiple touchpoints (CRM, social media, display, website, etc.) through engaging content and activations
  • Assist in the execution of the CRM strategy and plan in close collaboration with brand marketing teams and external agencies
  • Support Search activities, including SEO optimization, Google Ad Awards campaigns, and exploration of emerging opportunities linked to LLMs and AI-driven tools.
  • Help manage the development, review, and publication of website pages, sections and articles
  • Monitor Purina’s digital ecosystem performance, including the preparation of insights and KPI analyses for the Digital team’s monthly review

 

What will make you successful?

  • Undergraduates or graduates in digital marketing or design of communication;
  • Passionate about social media, contents and eCommerce;   
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Power Point and Digital skills;
  • Content is the king, but business is always the focus;
  • Curiosity and proactivity;
  • Performance and objective driven mindset;
  • Team player;
  • Fluent in English & Italian.

 

Our Selection Process

Step 1:

Meeting with HR – Talent Acquisition → Motivational and Attitudinal Assessment
An introductory conversation focused on your motivations, your academic and extracurricular experiences, and your interest in Consumer & Marketplace Insights and the FMCG industry.

 

Step 2:

Meeting with the Business (Reference Tutor / Line Manager) → Role & Contest deep dive/Business case
With the Manager, you’ll deepen your digital approach: analytical mindset, consumer understanding, and ideas on CRM, content, and engagement. It’s your moment to demonstrate curiosity, digital vision, and a performance
driven mindset.

 

Step 3:

Feedback
You will receive feedback at the end of the process, regardless of the outcome.
