Position Summary

Join Purina as a Trade Marketing Intern – Channel Specialist and dive into the world of pet care retail strategy. You'll support distribution and assortment planning, analyze sell-in/sell-out data, and help develop in-store materials.

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to bring campaigns to life. We’re looking for a curious, analytical mind with a passion for FMCG and strong Excel skills.

A day in the life of…

  • Support in create selling stories based on the uniqueness of our strategic brands;
  • Collaborate with internal (sales and marketing) stakeholders on daily basis;
  • Support the team for analysis and reports of the data of sell in and sell out in order to track the performance of our strategic channels and brands;
  • Support in analyse the return of investments of the activities in the point of sales;
  • Support in analyse the performances of our Sell Out Team;
  • Support in manage the costs of our warehouse;
  • Support in manage the APP for the Sales Force.

 

What will make you successful

  • Undergraduates or graduates trade marketing, marketing or economics;
  • Passionate about building activities to push the sell out in the shops;
  • Communication and analytical skills and good knowledge of Excel;
  • Result Focus;
  • Curiosity and proactivity;
  • Team player;
  • Fluent in both Italian and English.

 

Our Selection Process

Step 1:

Meeting with HR – Talent Acquisition → Motivational and Attitudinal Assessment
An introductory conversation focused on your motivations, your academic and extracurricular experiences, and your interest in Consumer & Marketplace Insights and the FMCG industry.

 

Step 2:

Meeting with the Business (Reference Tutor / Line Manager) → Role & Business Case

Together with the Manager, you’ll explore the Trade Marketing role and commercial context, working on a business case focused on data analysis, in-store activities, and channel performance. This step is designed to assess your analytical thinking, curiosity, and result-driven mindset, as well as your ability to translate data into actionable insights.

 

Step 3:

Feedback
You will receive feedback at the end of the process, regardless of the outcome.
