Position Summary
The Quality Compliance Specialist ensures full compliance with regulations and quality standards, aligned with Nestlé's key requirements. The role involves active collaboration with various business functions including Demand and Supply Planning, Market Head, Procurement, Factory Quality Assurance, and Distribution Center.
A day in the life of a Quality Compliance Specialist
- Manage product traceability activities (Upstream & Downstream) via Globe for products marketed in Italy, providing data and analysis for crisis management.
- Coordinate governance of inter-market exchanges, ensuring compliance with Nestlé requirements.
- Monitor legislative compliance regarding net weight of products in Italy, ensuring proper regulatory surveillance and training factory personnel (Net Content Champion).
- Supervise approval process for promotional items across all Group brands (food contact articles, toys, etc.).
- Coordinate quality audit activities, both in-person and remotely, using corporate digital tools.
- Conduct audits at central and secondary warehouses.
- Support product certification activities for factories (Kosher, Halal, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000).
