Position Summary

 

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Retail Media Specialist to join our eCommerce team.

In this role, you will act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders (eCommerce KAMs, Marketing, Media) and our media agency, focusing on guiding and optimizing retail media campaigns, particularly on Amazon and emerging players in the retail digital media landscape.

 

As the Retail Media Specialist, you will collaborate with eCommerce KAMs and the media agency to define specific strategies for Amazon Ads and fully leverage Amazon Marketing Cloud to drive exceptional results. Additionally, you will develop tailored retail media strategies for each category, identifying the optimal mix of retailers and ensuring that media plans align with commercial priorities and brand objectives.

 

 

 

A day in the life of Retail Media Specialist

 

Strategy & Planning

- Collaborate with eCommerce KAMs and the media agency to develop tailored retail media strategies for each retailer.
- Ensure media plans are aligned with commercial priorities and brand objectives.
- Define specific strategies for Amazon Ads, leveraging the full potential of Amazon Marketing Cloud.

- Verify and possibly propose the best audiences for achieving campaign targets.

 

Campaign Management & Coordination

- Act as the daily point of contact for the media agency, guiding and overseeing campaign execution and challenging strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with the media agency to review performance data and business goals, providing insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.

 

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

- Track and analyze key KPIs: Sell-out, CVR, CTR, ACOS, ROAS.
- Advanced use of Amazon Marketing Cloud to extract actionable insights and drive campaign optimization.

- Utilize campaign optimization tools such as Skai and Pacvue to analyze performance data and enhance campaign effectiveness.

- Develop dashboards and reports to communicate performance and insights to internal teams.

 

Insights & Innovation

- Conduct competitive analysis and market benchmarking to identify growth opportunities.
- Stay up to date on the evolving retail media landscape, with a focus on new digital retail platforms.
- Propose innovative approaches and test emerging solutions.
