Position Summary

 

The candidate will have the opportunity to be part of the Nespresso Demand & Supply team. The role is for operations talents with proven record of independently managing large amounts of qualitative and quantitative information into action-driven insights.

She/He will be responsible of end to end supply for a portfolio of POS, manage a broad range of supply chain processes, such as identifying correct store inventory levels ensuring our retail customers get the right products at the right time, as well as working with internal customers to drive accuracy in our sales forecasts to ensure appropriate replenishment volumes.

It calls on an individual who can build effective relationships, has exceptional communication skills and work proactively to individuate efficiencies and innovations.

A day in the life of... Retail Supply Planner

  

  • Accountable for creating and monitoring detailed supply plans matching customer service level ambition with optimum working capital and lowest possible cost.
  • Proactively identify service level issues in relation to assigned product portfolio and BTQs, avoiding customer stock-outs or excess of stocks, ensuring business goals are achieved and driving timely & accurate supply communications;
  • Work closely with Demand Planning Team to improve forecast at SKU/location level;
  • Build strong relationship with major stakeholders within and outside Supply Chain;
  • Leading project for lean process reengineering, identifying how to improve supply planning systems and processes to achieve greater efficiency & scale;
  • Responsible for maintenance and optimization of Supply Chain KPIs and Replenishment Tools settings;
  • Managing phase in / phase out process execution from a planning perspective;
  • Optimizing retail inventory levels- minimize excess & obsolete inventory for assigned product portfolio.
What will make you successful

 

  • Previous experience in Supply or Demand Planning;
  • Embraces change, challenges status quo and makes recommendations for improvements to standard routines and processes;
  • Positive forward-looking mindset, problem solving attitude and team spirit;
  • Approaches challenges with a data-driven and solution-orientation mindset;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel);
  • Power BI, SQL or other programming language preferred.
