  • Proven operational experience relevant to the role, matured in one or more of the following functions: Supply Chain (Deman Supply Planning, Customer Solutions, Supply Chain Development), Sales (KAM, Trade Marketing), Marketing or Finance
  • Good knowledge of Excel and SAP
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills are essential for the role
  • Proven ability to stakeholders management is key
  • Fluency in Italian and English is required.

 

Position Summary

You will have a key role within the Supply Chain and Operations department. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing the demand planning process to ensure accurate forecasting and planning of product demand.

 

A Day in the life of the Senior Demand Planner:

  • Develop, maintain and improve a Demand Plan for a portfolio of products and customers, including the generation and maintenance of Promotion Uplift Volume
  • Drive the alignment of this Demand Plan with internal and external partners through the Monthly Business Planning
  • Identify and manage exceptions and monitor performance in order to continually improve the quality and reliability of the Demand Plan and the Company’s ability to sense and respond to changing circumstances.
  • Collect Information and Assumptions about events, activities in relation to promotions, product launches, customer/distribution changes that form an important part of the demand plan
  • Analyze historical sales trends, market trends and customer behaviours to identify patterns and make informed demand forecasts.
  • Utilize advanced statistical models and forecasting techniques to improve accuracy and reliability of demand forecasts.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning, such as forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and customer service levels.
  • Minimize Working Capital and lead Initiatives into the Value Chain area
  • Share experience and contribute to increase knowledge & capabilities in the own area of expertise, within and/or outside own category/market in the Group.
  • Provide guidance, coordination and/or and mentorship to junior demand planners. Develop, revise and update relevant training and learning material, as needed
  • Act as a super user and/or expert in different forums within the own category/market and with other categories and markets
  • Act as a back up of the Supply Chain Co-Pilot with own category/market and key stakeholders, representing the first point of contact in addressing/management Business request or Supply Chain issue.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand planning processes, systems, and tools.
