  • 10+ Years experience reporting to an IT function (ideally engineering), with service & result orientation behavior. Networks activities across a large number of sites.
     

Position Summary

Are you a talented Senior Product Manager ready to join Nestlé’s new IT Platforms-CVC team in Milan, Italy? You will be responsible for one or several products related to connectivity technologies (WAN, LAN, Remote Access…). You will be responsible for the definition of the Product vision and roadmap, the design and implementation of the building block technologies and solutions, the execution of a go-to-market strategy to generate IT key stakeholders adoption through the creation of end-to-end value delivery.

A day in the life of...

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business capabilities and use it to segment customers based on their needs and profile. Provide an outside in based view of how to best target each segment.
  • Work with the Business Relationship Manager and Enterprise Architect, to develop a product strategy and vision to maximize value in line with corporate and business strategy.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape, specifically for TCO / value for money to inform the product strategy before and during product life.
  • Work with CVC Regional Operations Managers to capture local market needs and pain points, support in technical issues escalation and make solutions available as part of the Product Portfolio offering
  • Participate in the IT governance processes that enable prioritization across multiple options and support the business governance processes (e.g. automation that would reduce business spend or significantly impact business ways of working).
  • Develop people: coach, define effective development plans and assess talent, building the right capabilities for the team’s and for the organization’s long-term success.
  • Ensure the product strategy can be delivered within his own product stack and it is in synergy with other key products strategies (Conferencing, Contact Center, DataCenter&Cloud, Security, SAP platforms, T&P factories platforms )
  • Analyze the reporting provided by the performance manager for insights of product impact and adoption within Nestlé. Work with customers to define and validate specific key value indicators; define, with the team, key performance indicators to improve the product value.
  • Drive performance: empower and enable people, give and receive feedback, evaluate and differentiate performance, constantly challenge the organization to ensure its results and effectiveness.

  • Understanding of IT budget planning and experience in building IT Program/Projects Business Case
  • Understanding of how network technologies are applied by best-in-class companies.
  • Strong understanding of the practical application of technology trends, leading industry analysts, and new evolving business models.
  • Strong knowledge and project experience deploying Cisco SDWAN technology
  • Experience in large and complex networking environments supporting hybrid infrastructure landscape (onprem and multicloud )
  • Knowledge of WAN design and project experience in large WAN implementation
  • Knowledge of LAN design methodologies and project experience in complex LAN implementation
  • Experience in design and implementation of network solutions in environment (wifi, segmentation, IOT)
  • Expertise in troubleshooting & coordinating resolutions of issues and of projects involving operational technology solutions and the different IT towers.
  • Established experience with networks vendors from the Nestlé installed base solutions and services ( mainly Cisco, Checkpoint, Zscaler).
  • Strong understanding of information risk, security guidelines, IT compliance frameworks (e.g. PCI)  and architectural standards.
  • Strong understanding of state of the art network monitoring tools.
  • Strong understanding of program and project management methodologies 
  • Knowledge and experience with Lean frameworks and Agile methodologies and practices
  • Knowledge and experience with ServiceNow suite
