Position Snapshot
- Nestlé in Italy, Assago (Milan) HQ
- Undergraduates or graduates in Management Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent. Theoretical knowledge required (university level) about ERP, forecasting, make or buy, Supply Chain processes, objectives and methodologies (curricular or extra-curricular work experience in Supply Chain/Operations is a strong plus)

- Full-time internship (6 months) - We offer a monthly allowance of €900, free access to the company canteen, free access to a partner gym near the office and a company laptop

Position Summary
You will support the Demand & Supply Planning team in managing operations planning within the Coffee category, ensuring the effective coordination of demand and supply planning activities.
A day in the life of a Demand&Supply Planning Intern
- Youu will have the opportunity to take actions on daily operational activities, including maintaining optimal stock levels across the network, monitoring truck saturation, planning co-packing operations, tracking KPIs and updating forecasts.
- In addition, you will contribute to projects aimed at improving cross-functional supply chain processes, with objectives such as reducing total delivered costs, enhancing service levels and optimizing waste.
- The role also includes developing reporting and analytical tools within the Demand & Supply area, with particular focus on time and costs efficiencies.
Key Outputs / Deliverables
- Development of reporting and analytical tools in Demand & Supply area
- Integrate processes with Information System applications (SAP) to reduce manual activities and improve automatism
- Implement processes improvements to deliver tangible benefits (e.g.: time saving, increased efficiencies, etc.)

What will make you successful?
- Degree in Management Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Short experience in Supply Chain/Operations
- Good knowledge of Excel, Power BI (SAP is a plus)
- Strong communication and relational skills
- Collaborate proactively with innovative and constructive approach
- Mental agility, insight, analysis and synthesis
- Fluent in both Italian&English
