At Nestlé Italy, we are looking for curious, analytical and motivated talents to join our Cost Controlling team.

This internship is a great opportunity to learn how Finance supports business decisions in a dynamic and international environment.


Position Snapshot

  • Nestlé in Italy, Milan Head Quarter (Assago)
  • Nestlé welcomes people with disabilities
  • University Degree in Economics/ Finance and/or Accountancy
  • Full-time internship (6 months) – We offer a monthly allowance of €900, free access to the company canteen, free access to a partner gym near the office and a company laptop
  • Proficiency in English and Italian
  • Start date: June 2026 


Position Summary 
Collaborate with all the functions involved for preparation of fixed costs Budget and dynamic forecast (annual and quarterly), actual closing.
Support in the financial analysis process of the cost with a monthly deep dive of the general ledger, facilitating a fact based decision making process, in full alignment to financial and Nestlé Accounting Standards requirement.
Improve existing excel reporting structure and interact with the stakeholders for the spending review. 
Collaborate with the centre of competence based in Barcelona for preparation of dynamic forecast (annual and quarterly) and actual closing.
Give support to the team during the steps of Budget process.


A day in the life of the Stage - Finance Cost Controlling: 

You will work closely with experienced controllers and business partners, contributing to real Finance activities:
•    Collaborate with other FP&A teams and business controller
•    Reporting, data and analysis preparation
•    Collaborate with the ICCC of Barcelona ( International Cost Center of Competence)
•    Interact with multiple Finance and non Finance stakeholders.

 

What Will Make You Successful?
•    Strong excel skills, Power Query Knowledge it’s a plus
•    Degree (or close to completion) in Economics, Finance or similar fields
•    Interest in Financial Management, Governance, Risk & Compliance
•    Analytical mindset, curiosity and results orientation
•    Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
•    Problem solving skills
•    Italian mother tongue, fluent in English.
