Position Summary

Are you a talented IS/IT Technology Expert ready to join our Workforce 360 Collaboration, Content and Portal Services team in Milan, Italy?  We need you to guide and promote the optimal use of our Content and Portal Services products within the supporting business requirements. You are accountable for specific development and support deliverables related, including preliminary studies and technology evolution. 

A day in the life of...
  • Consult, guide, and provide specialist technical support support for our Content and Portal Services products 
  • Recommend how to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and delivery of services through the improved use of technology 
  • Facilitate new and evolving business and operating models through your thorough understanding of technology trends and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies 
  • Help design governance, assurance and standards required to ensure enterprise technology architecture compliance 
  • Liaise closely with suppliers, defining significant functional, technical and process integration decisions 
What will make you successful
  • Proficient in SAP Enterprise Portal as a functional, technical and development consultant and participation in at least two full cycle projects 
  • Proven knowledge of Java, Javascript and UI5 technologies 
  • Strong understanding of Agile/DevOps methods and processes with proven ability to participate in Agile project teams, providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impacts, and risks 
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study or equivalent experience; 
  • Adaptable, flexible and dynamic while keeping a client centric approach 
  • Experience working in advisory councils, industry user groups, and key technology partners (vendors, Account Managers, Product Managers, Lab advocates and Executives) 
  • Strong understanding of the practical application of technology trends identified by leading industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester) and new evolving business models 
  • Excellent English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, and mediums (face-to-face and remote virtual teams)
