Territory Sales Manager OOH - Lazio

  • Nestlé in Italy, in the field
  • Permanent Contract
  • At least 3-5 year of experience in Sales
  • Reporting line: Field Sales Manager 
  • Residence/domicile in Rome or province is required.
  • Valid drivig license.

 

 

Position Summary


Revenue and team management responsibilities are assigned for the area across all OOH categories (Confectionery, Professional, Cereals).

Ensure the implementation of the Channel and Category Strategy within assigned geographical Area/Territory and deliver agreed objectives on Turnover and Profitability.

Lead and Coach his/her team of Sales Agents aimed at business development.

Manage directly Local Key Customers.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach are essential to address challenges and capitalize on commercial opportunities arising daily in the field.

A key role is played in managing relationships with agents, ensuring performance is maintained while balancing Nestlé’s strategic interests with agents’ objectives.

Active and proactive participation is expected in all Sales alignment meetings.

Sales planning responsibilities include the preparation and presentation of the annual sales plan across all categories and trade assets. 

 

 

A Day in the Life of Territory Sales Manager

 

  • Plan, implement, monitor and review area plan per sub-channel          
  • Lead and Train his/her Agents on managing Sales & Customers
  • Assigns Targets and Budgets to agents to pursue objectives
  • Oversees the Order to Cash process to ensure proper sales execution (Monitors/Approves discounts and returns, liaises with other departments such as Customer Support / Logistics / Trade marketing to finalize orders)
  • Monitors daily performance and works with agents/customers to implement recovery actions needed to meet targets
  • Manages the collection process for due invoices
  • Visits customers to verify product sell-out/improve visibility and implement actions to reduce unsold stock risk
  • Actively seeks new customers
  • Accurate Forecasting of main Sales kpi’s
  • Reviews the organizational structure of the area, evaluating potential changes in customer management across the territory
