Position Summary
You will be part of T-Hub South organization located in Assago (Nestlé HQ). T-Hub South has the responsibility to deliver on time and efficiently our goods to our customers, its perimeter extends from Iberia to Greece, Italy included.
As a Transportation Service Specialist, you will provide executional oversight and manage risks from pre‑pickup to delivery. You will monitor service levels for key customers and collaborate with carriers to improve performance and enhance in‑transit visibility.
A Day in the Life of a Transportation Service Specialist
-Transportation Execution & Monitoring
- On-time pickup management and in-transit tracking
- Identification and mitigation of loading/pickup risks
- Preventing On-Time Delivery failures and ensuring visibility
- Workload prioritization aligned with market strategies
- Record updates, documentation capture, reason coding
- Detention/Demurrage approvals
-Stakeholder & Customer Support
Operational contact for Customer Service and Sales
Managing customer requests and resolving delivery issues to prevent refusals
Call‑center style support for internal/external stakeholders
-Performance & Analytics
Monitoring returns/refusals
Tracking carriers’ and transit points’ service level KPIs
Supporting analytics and reporting
What Will Make You Successful
- Essential: Greek and English fluency | Italian: good/intermediate
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint), SAP knowledge is a plus
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving attitude and service orientation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Pragmatic, fact‑based, proactive and curious approach
- Being a team player, comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
