Position Summary
You will be part of T-Hub South organization located in Assago (Nestlé HQ). T-Hub South has the responsibility to deliver on time and efficiently our goods to our customers, its perimeter extends from Iberia to Greece, Italy included. You will be part of Service Specialist team and you will executional oversight and manage risks from pre-pickup to delivery, you will monitor Service level for key Customers and collaborate with carriers in order to increase performances and in transit visibility. 


A day in the life of a Transportation Service Specialist

  • On-Time Pickup Management / In-Transit Tracking
  • Identify & Mitigate Loading/Pickup Risk
  • Record Updates
  • Find loads to save from On Time Delivery failure and providing enterprise-wide visibility
  • Executive voice for rescheduling vs reassigning freight orders
  • Workload prioritization aligned with market strategies
  • Reason coding
  • Detention/Demurrage approvals
  • Documentation capture 
  • Operating Activities
  • Call center activities for Customer Service / Sales
  • Manage requests from Customers/Customer Service/Sales, solving problems on deliveries in order to prevent refusal
  • Analitycs  
  • Returns / Refusals monitoring
  • Carriers service level KPI 
  • Transit Points service level KPI

 

What will make you successful

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics
  • Previous experience in Operations is a plus (6 months or 1 year)
  • Advanced MS Office Skills (e.g. Excel, Power Point..) 
  • SAP Skills is a plus 
  • Fluent English is a MUST, other languages is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Pragmatical and fact-based mindset
  • Analitycs and problem solving attitude
  • Service orientation
  • Capability to work in team
  • Proactive and curious person 
  • Ability and interest in working in a fast pace and rapidly changing environment
