Compensation Package: CCNL Commercio, Quadro, Gross Annual Base Salary: €65.200,00 + 10% annual bonus based on company performance.

For our International Retail Hub based in Milan, we are currently looking for a Visual Merchandising Excellence Senior Project Manager.

In this role, you will drive the evolution of Nespresso Visual Merchandising excellence across the global boutique network. You will define, develop and continuously enhance Visual Merchandising standards and capability-building programs for the global VM community, while leading the creation, implementation and governance of year-round Retail Communication and Visual Identity initiatives. Your contribution will help ensure brand consistency, commercial effectiveness and differentiated customer experience across all markets.

 

A day in the life of a Visual Merchandising Excellence Senior Project Manager

-          VM strategy and excellence roadmap

  • Contribute to the definition and evolution of the global Visual Merchandising strategy.
  • Develop, deploy and continuously enhance the Visual Merchandising Excellence Roadmap, ensuring key initiatives and milestones are delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Foster and leverage the collective expertise of the global VM community, the VM Hive, to gather market insights, identify opportunities and elevate VM quality, premium brand expression and commercial performance.

 

-          Standards, guidelines and retail concepts

  • Govern and continuously evolve the Visual Merchandising Guidebook across all active retail concepts, ensuring it remains relevant, up to date and effectively deployed worldwide.
  • Develop VM principles and guidelines aligned with brand ambitions, customer experience objectives and commercial priorities.
  • Drive consistent application of VM standards across the boutique network, safeguarding execution excellence and brand consistency at every touchpoint.
  • Partner with Retail Design to provide strategic VM insights that inform fixture and furniture optimization, innovation opportunities and future retail concept developments.

 

-          Gifting Visual Merchandising

  • Envision and drive the evolution of the Nespresso Gifting Visual Merchandising strategy, supporting the ambition to position boutiques as a preferred gifting destination.
  • Develop and deploy tools, guidelines and merchandising solutions that create inspiring, intuitive and easy-to-shop displays that encourage discovery and purchase.
  • Act as a catalyst across functions, partnering with Accessories, Brand and Innovation teams to embed the gifting ambition throughout the customer experience.
  • Benchmark leading premium and luxury brands to identify best practices, generate insights and inform innovation opportunities.

 

-          VM capability building and VM Academy

  • Lead the continuous evolution of the Visual Merchandising Academy, ensuring programs, tools and learning materials remain engaging, relevant and aligned with VM Global Best Practices and strategic priorities.
  • Develop capability-building initiatives for the global VM community and foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Plan and orchestrate Train-the-Trainer sessions based on global and market needs.
  • Coach and guide markets on their VM excellence journey and monitor training completion, participation and satisfaction to strengthen learning effectiveness and impact.

 

-          Assessment, insights and continuous improvement

  • Govern the Visual Merchandising Assessment Program in close collaboration with external partners.
  • Drive market adoption through onboarding, guidance and ongoing support.
  • Continuously evolve the assessment framework and KPIs to ensure relevance for both Headquarters and markets.
  • Analyze results to identify patterns, trends and opportunities, translating insights into targeted action plans that address execution gaps and strengthen consistency across the boutique network.
