Position Summary

Are you a talented Operations Specialist ready to join our Workforce 360 Devices team in Milan, Italy?
You will be responsible for sustain, deployment, retirement and leverage for Workforce Devices products. The Operations Specialist is responsible for the effective and efficient operational support of the aligned products. You will be also responsible for operational service management processes to ensure quality, efficiency, productivity and agility goals are achieved.

A day in the life of...
  • Ensure the delivery of efficient and secure IS/IT operations, support IS/IT systems that fulfill the needs of the business, and provide input to the product team and tech lead as well as to peers responsible for other aspects of operations
  • Oversee the support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management in coordination with product or platform teams.
  • Ensure IS/IT strategic service partners provide the required level of service, system performance and functionality required to meet business commitments
  • Support the implementation and management of quality and efficiency improvements of IS/IT service delivery, to drive value and support
  • Support market & project testing; supports specification, configuration & sustain activities and utilizes 3rd party services as directed
  • Participate in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities with a focus on suitability for integration with the existing IS/IT operations environment
  • Run small-scale projects (managed work activities) for the deployment of functionalities
  • Responsible for operational compliance of all related products
What will make you successful
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in IS/IT, preferably working in a large multinational and with virtual teams
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance to achieve key metrics
  • Demonstrated experiences on warehouse barcode scanners (called also RF or Radio Frequency devices) 
    Demonstrate strong experience working with two or more technologies, services and process environments including desktop & infrastructure solutions: Workforce enterprise hardware (desktop, laptop, tablets, smartphones and warehouse barcode scanners), Windows 10, SCCM, Intune, Apple Mac, Jamf), Citrix, VMware, and Printing Solutions
  • Experience explaining technical concepts and technologies
  • Strong IS/IT operations expertise, including cross-domain knowledge and preferably earlier career experience in an individual contributor role in IT operations
  • Knowledge and experience in leveraging both: traditional practices, such as IT service management, as well as emerging methods, such as DevOps, that are optimized for agility
  • Demonstrate strong experience working with two or more technologies, services and process environments including desktop & infrastructure solutions (Windows 10, SCCM, Intune, Apple Mac, Jamf), Citrix, VMware, Printing Solutions and Workforce enterprise hardware (desktop, laptop & mobile)
  • Interpersonal and collaboration skills, and end-to-end understanding of IT business solutions
  • Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
