  • Experience in effectively managing cross-functional teams, influencing key stakeholders across the organization and within complex contexts, expert in service management principles and execution, with demonstrated experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance to achieve key metrics. Preferably proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT operations teams in complex and dynamic environments requiring 24/7 support.
Position Summary

Are you a talented IS/IT Senior Product Group Manager ready to lead Nestlé’s new Workforce 360 Connectivity, Voice and Conferencing team in Milano, Italy.

You will be accountable for a Product Group, managing product managers and a global team, delivering modern, reliable and user-centric products to over 2’500 locations worldwide; 200’000+ Skype clients, large commercial contact centers, 350+ telepresence locations and major transformation programs such as transforming to SD-WAN.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the full life cycle of all products, from ideation and strategy through delivery to retirement, on time and to quality. 

You will be also responsible for achieving company & business specific objectives, monitoring and optimizing business flows as well as defining and implementing IS/IT initiatives. 

You will maintain strong relationships with business partners and executive stake holders, other Sr product managers and executives in the key partners providing services to Nestle. 

On the delivery side of the product group, you will be responsible for managing the product group's value for money, increasing as much as possible the sharing of products across business units. You will be also accountable for developing your teams' capabilities.

A day in the life of...
  • You will engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and constraints.
  • Work with the Business Relationship Manager, Product Managers, Enterprise Architect and Business Analyst(s) to define the vision and develop the high level product group strategy tied to the overall business strategy and value creation.
  • Contribute to embedding digital opportunities in the business strategy, including the company’s product and channel strategies.
  • You will understand what is available in the marketplace and create the strategy and vision for the products in your group.
  • Ensure analysis of the competitive landscape especially for TCO and value for money to inform the product strategy and the product lifecycles.
  • Work across the organization with stakeholders, suppliers, other product managers and the Office of the CIO to ensure the success of your product group.
  • Provide transparency and create buy-in across all stakeholders inside and outside the IS/IT organization for the vision and the value of the products.
  • You will guide your team to deliver products which meet the needs of your consumers and deliver demonstrable value for money to your stakeholders.
  • Apply product management discipline to each product within the product group and proactively manage product life cycles.
  • Ensure increased product adoption, customer and consumer satisfaction and other value indicators.
  • You will put in place the right measures and controls to manage the risk profile of your products and demonstrate their compliance to the appropriate standards. 
  • You will participate in the IS/IT governance processes to set priorities and resolve conflicts across multiple product groups.
  • You will drive the governance of the products and services delivered by your unit, ensuring the quality and operational excellence required by the business.
  • You will work with procurement and partner management teams to manage suppliers and partners.
  • You will manage the budget for the team and services and the costs of the products.
  • To do this you will lead, develop and enable a team, building the right capabilities for the organization’s long-term success.
What will make you successful
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably computer science or field related to the product 
  • Demonstrated experience in a product based IS/IT organization 
  • 10+ years experience in IS/IT (e.g BA, PM ...)
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong understanding of basic system engineering, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards
  • Excellent understanding of business complexity and interdependencies
  • Deep understanding of Connectivity (WAN, LAN, Remote access, security gateway ), Voice (Skype, SIP, PBX, contact centers)  and videoconferencing (Telepresence, Skype) solutions in large environments (1000 Sites +). 
  • Working knowledge of consumer research and UI/UX
  • Understanding of how the technologies within the scope are applied by best-in-class companies
  • Above-average organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time 
  • Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams
  • Excellent English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, and mediums (face-to-face and remote)
