Position Summary

Are you a talented IS/IT Technology Expert ready to join Nestlé’s new Workforce 360 Connectivity, Voice and Conferencing Services team in Milan, Italy? We need you to perform studies, to help to define the technological directions, to support the delivery and the sustainability of the Network Security Products. Work with today’s Site Connectivity technologies and services including Traffic Management, Network Virtualization and Security Solutions delivering tomorrow’s innovations to our workforce.

A day in the life of...
  • Provides deep specialist guidance and support in the Security Gateway area
  • Delivers the technical activity (design, build, testing) in significant or complex innovation initiatives
  • Makes recommendations on how to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and delivery of Network Security services through the use of new and existing technology and technical methods and methodologies
  • Provides the product team with technical expertise, advising on best technology solutions, translating the business vision into a technical vision
  • Participates in the development of and review of standards, documentation and methods of working
  • Performs preliminary studies, general systems specifications and detailed systems specifications
  • Ensures solution operational readiness: defines global procedures and processes for operations in the area of expertise
  • Responsible for ensuring that Site Connectivity services are delivered and maintained secure and compliant with internal standards and external regulations, including privacy requirements
  • Works with IS/IT Innovation managers, Product managers, Tech Leads, Solution Architects and Business Analysts as required to ensure Site Connectivity services fit the strategic and technical direction
  • Assists others in resolving complex technical problems and investigating the root cause of problems and recommends SMART solutions
  • Provides guidance, directions and if needed, technical support to product teams, mentoring and sharing technology knowledge with the teams.
What will make you successful
  • Experience with Check Point technologies and Cisco is mandatory
  • Experience of resolving technical issues, including those involving third parties
  • Preferably certification in corresponding technical fields (CCSM, CCSE, CCNP, CISSP,..)
  • Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization in English
  • Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
  • Excellence in Security Services (e.g. Security Gateway) technologies, Traffic Management (e.g. prioritization, optimization, intelligent routing), Network Virtualization, Traffic transport
  • Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as agile software development, rapid prototyping and DevOps, project management principles)
  • Understanding and knowledge of IS/IT standards and controls
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills
  • Ability to understand the financial impact of technology alternatives
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of existing, new and emerging technologies that enable and drive new business designs and models
  • Knowledge of financial models and budgeting
