•    Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, information systems, related discipline, or equivalent 
•    5+ years experience as a business analyst on information management, intranet or portal implementation projects
•    Experience defining and implementing knowledge management solutions including  best practices in terms of information architecture and management (information management governance processes, content models, taxonomies and metadata) is required
•    Expertise creating IT governance frameworks/models for the Digital Workplace, including intranet and portals governance is a plus
•    Understanding of Agile/DevOps methods and processes is required
•    Effective English communication
 

Position Summary


Are you a talented Knowledge Management Specialist ready to join Nestlé Workforce 360 Collaboration, Content and Portal Services product team in Milan, Italy?  We need you to create a deep understanding of opportunities and issues faced by the business functions and recommend the best IS/IT solutions. Translate business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into IS/IT product requirements. Work with the Content and Portal Services Product team to specify, test and deploy IS/IT solutions that meet the business requirements.

A day in the life of Knowledge Management Specialist


•    Partner with business and IS/IT to elicit, analyze, translate and document business requirements for knowledge management, pain points or opportunities into IS/IT solutions. 
•    Consult with your product manager to define the minimum viable product (MVP) that satisfies the business needs 
•    Ensure that the Product/Product Group Managers and Business Relationship Manager (BRM) are supported in the development of their product strategies through incremental improvement 
•    Partner with the BRM and Product Group Manager to facilitate the strategy and innovation planning with business stakeholders 
•    Ensure that the program development, logic, process flows and specifications are analyzed, documented (business process maps, customer and user journeys, data flows) and tested 
•    Consult with the Product Group teams and propose improvement solutions 
•    Ensure that the training materials for the Product Group area are created and up-to-date 
•    Oversee and ensure training is delivered for deployment and support teams, to the end user trainers, and finally to the end users  
•    Support the analysis and resolution of solution issues as part of the third level sustain activities 
•    Coach, motivate and direct business and IT staff to understand business needs and find the best solution that aligns with customer objectives and the IS/IT strategy 
 

What will make you successful


•    IT Business analysis experience in relevant functional areas that span multiple diverse technologies including Microsoft infrastructure and services (Office 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, ServiceNow), other collaboration solutions, or IT operations  
•    Experience in turning theoretical knowledge management concepts into practical, actionable and sustainable solutions
•    Experience in influencing and changing behaviour with regards to knowledge management processes 
•    Experience in knowledge transfer techniques and processes and experience in building and sustaining communities of practice
•    Strong writing and communications ability
•    Experience facilitating requirement discovery workshops, UX best practices knowledge and usability testing expertise are a plus
•    Expertise defining KPIs and measuring ROI of collaboration solutions is an advantage
•    Strong experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using design thinking methodology 
•    Understanding of business processes and ability to translate it into application requirements 
•    Experience with working in a global environment with virtual teams 
•    Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization 
•    Strong understanding the practical application of technology trends, leading industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester) and new evolving business models 
•    Results focused and Innovative with a “can do” attitude 
•    Adaptable, flexible and dynamic while keeping a client-centric approach
