Position Summary

For the retail channel, he/she develops yearly distribution plan and proper route to market, and identifies the ideal assortment, the way to implement it, and the category projects/tailor made activities for main customers.

A day in the life of...

  • Supporting Marketing, Sales, Trade marketing team in Integrate commercial plan (Customer & Business Review, Brand, Channel & Customer plan) for the development of distribution/assortment plan;
  • Defining and managing of budget for listing fees;
  • Monitoring new products launches, analyzing gaps and identifying action plans for sell in and sell out;
  • Definition of Dashboard with priority KPI's (sell in & sell out);
  • Preparation of meetings with customers and sales (sellin and sellout sales meetings, area meetings, yearly plan/assortments proposals/tailor made/category projects for customers, T2T);
  • Contributing in Category Strategy definition and in category projects for customers
  • Implement category project in Point of sales

What will make you successful

  • Previous experience of at least 3-5 years in GD (Marketing/Trade marketing/Sales) in a local business;
  • Strong knowledge of customers’ scenario in retail channel
  • Knowledge of Market Intelligence, Category/Channel/Shopper trends and research and market data sourcing
  • Strong working knowledge of Office/IT Systems (mainly Excel, and also Powerpoint & SAS) & processes;
  • Understands channels and customers needs;
  • Understand P&L and value chain, forecasting and budgeting;
  • Project and Process management skills;
  • Very good Relations ability;
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Italian
