Position Summary

Develop and execute the strategy for Nestlé Dairy Culinary Solutions (Baking Category), to generate category growth, brand building and ensure business targets (organic growth, market share and profitability).

A day in the life of the Brand Manager Dairy Culinary Solutions (Nestlé Baking)

Consumer/Shopper/Brand

  • Understand the consumer/shopper behavior to identify possible opportunities and issues for the baking category
  • Activate Nestlé Brand Propositions coherently with the Central Category Strategy and execute it in a meaningful an effective way for the local context
  • Contribute to the development of communication campaigns, engagement strategies and creates attractive and rewarding brand experiences. Work in partnership with communication agencies (ATL, Digital, Media, Packaging and BTL)

Digital

  • Develop digital communication campaigns 
  • Define and implement the brand social media strategy (including Facebook and Instagram assets)
  • Define and execute CRM strategy
  • Define and execute the e-content strategy, leveraging local and regional content factories and hubs
  • Define and execute lower funnel campaigns, working in partnership with digital and media agency
  • Contribute to define the E-business Roadmap for the brand in collaboration with Zone-EMENA Dairy Category and local E-business Lead. 
  • Define and develop consumer campaigns, by leading multifunctional teams (purchasing, quality, packaging, legal, promotions department, CCSD, Sales, DSP, factories event managers).
  • Understand in store environment, channels dynamics and customers’ needs 

Product Portfolio

  • Work in collaboration and synergy with Zone-EMENA Dairy Category for the multimarket I&R pipeline 
  • Define Innovation and renovation local pipeline and lead I2L projects (including also post launch evaluation) involving all the relevant stakeholders and business functions
  • Provide recommendation to pricing and promotional strategy
  • Work in close cooperation with finance department to build business cases for new products/new formats 

Business

  • Tracks and monitors the performance and the competition evolution
  • Contribute to the sales forecast analyzing both sell out and promo data
  • Develop and execute strong, functionally aligned brand and ICP plan. Tracks and monitors the related performance and put in place corrective action if needed.
  • Understand business impact of PFME and TTS investment and manage/monitor PFME spending
