Position Summary


The UX and Innovation team will deliver a cohesive set of services to drive innovation and user experience, adoption of efficient ways of working and pursue the ultimate user experience for the workforce. We are looking for an experienced UX Design/Strategist with a broad understanding of digital solutions/multi-channel services, passion for human-centred-design and the drive to pioneer innovative processes. As UX Design/Strategist you will be deeply oriented around the business collaboration and customer feedback cycles enabling idea generation, synthesis, vision and delivery. You will conduct research in partnership with UX researchers, identify key insights, and deliver strategic recommendations to our agile delivery teams. The UX Design/Strategist is responsible for facilitating product development processes, organizing workshops, and review the product design with Product/Offering Manager to ensure that both the business goals and the user needs are continuously aligned. In addition, the UX Design/Strategist leverages visualization skills in prototyping, sketching and storytelling to convey compelling product experiences.

A day in the life of an UX Strategist

 

  • Maintain a clear understanding of the business goals and user needs, identifying and articulating high-impact research questions and opportunities, while continuing to drive strategic design decisions
  • Synthesize user research and business data to help shape the product roadmap, designs and future research activities
  • Review user stories within a given design sprint to ensure objectives, goals, and requirements are clear, and led by user research.
  • Use storytelling to communicate high-level concepts and research insights in presentations, reports, and workshops
  • Evaluate and measure the outcome for each design sprint to provide recommendations on how best to improve the overall product design and collaboration between cross-functional team.

What will make you successful

 

  • Master or Bachelor’s degree in Interaction design (HCI) or Master in UX Design.
  • A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), service design, planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
  • Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and customers.
  • A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design, service design and design thinking.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
  • Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model, to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
  • Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.
