Position Summary

In this role you will support and contribute with proactive approach to manage the transportation activity together with the Team. 
Provide outstanding delivery services across the different channels with a high focus on the eCommerce channel but also the Retail and B2B, while ensuring the on-time services at minimum cost throughout an effective relationship with suppliers.

A day in the life of Transportation Specialist

  • Manage & Control day2day Delivery Services activities (HQ Inbound to Outbound & Returns)
  • Orchestrate Transportation Providers Relationship by focusing on delivery performances, action plans and operational issues anticipation
  • Lead Transportation Operational Reviews (Internally and externally)
  • Manage Order & Delivery KPIs dashboard highlighting key focus points
  • Co-Lead the Order & Delivery Customer Complaints Operational Reviews
  • Promote Efficient Communication Flows with full transparency with internal and External stakeholders for Nespresso Supply Chain Targets Achievement
  • Connect Nespresso business facts with other internal and external perspectives (Partners and/or competitors)
  • Challenge Nespresso current WOW with an obsessed continuous improvement mindset with: 
    • 1) Internal processes (HQ, Demand & Supply Planning, Logistics and Transportation, Customer Service) 
    • 2) External partners (3PL and Delivery Providers)
  • Validate & Monitor monthly invoices for transportation providers ensuring match with volumes and contracts
  • Implement, Monitor and Manage Safety, Health and Environment compliance and Best Practices.
  • Manage Order & Delivery KPIs dashboard internally within Logistics Team and highlight externally key focus points by identifying trends and performance.

What will make you successful

  • 2 years of professional experience in Transportation in an eCommerce Business
  • Experience in eCommerce Delivery Services Projects
  • Experience in the Transportation Suppliers Management
  • Strategic, Pragmatic and Energetic individual
  • With strong problem-solving attitude and open minded
  • Accurate, structured and with attention to details
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree, specialization in Supply Chain/Logistics
  • English Fluent
