Fluent in Italian and English

Position Summary

Co-pilot in collaboration with Business Manager the retail network, with both custodian and compliance role: providing insight and strongly supporting decision making process through fact based insights, based on current business environment & specialist financial knowledge and by challenging new strategies & new projects, as well as the status quo.

A day in the life of Business Controller

Finance Business Partners advise and support the business in areas related to future state financial performance including: Finance consulting and coaching (e.g., interpreting financial results and measures in the context of business operations)
Providing forward looking financial insight on market conditions and alternative business scenarios
Improving the quality of internal financial data to drive business decision making and performance
Participate actively in the strategy development and provide associated scenario planning to optimize shareholder value
Work closely with Decision Support and other Controllers in order to provide a high quality data / timely framework, as well as the reliable measurement of selected key KPI's
Review monthly performance and identify areas of risk to achievement of targets and forecasts and develop/follow up action plans
Actively supports the business to ensure compliance to internal and external regulation (fiscal, legal) spreading compliance culture and mindset in the organization

Thorough understanding of business environment and competition
Extensive knowledge of boutique profitability
Solid grounding in value creation process and the full value chain of the business
Solid understanding of business processes, internal controls supporting these E2E processes
Knowledge of local tax legislation
Experience within a network organization (internal and external providers)
