- Fluent in Italian and English
Position Summary
Co-pilot in collaboration with Business Manager the retail network, with both custodian and compliance role: providing insight and strongly supporting decision making process through fact based insights, based on current business environment & specialist financial knowledge and by challenging new strategies & new projects, as well as the status quo.
A day in the life of Business Controller
- Finance Business Partners advise and support the business in areas related to future state financial performance including: Finance consulting and coaching (e.g., interpreting financial results and measures in the context of business operations)
- Providing forward looking financial insight on market conditions and alternative business scenarios
- Improving the quality of internal financial data to drive business decision making and performance
- Participate actively in the strategy development and provide associated scenario planning to optimize shareholder value
- Work closely with Decision Support and other Controllers in order to provide a high quality data / timely framework, as well as the reliable measurement of selected key KPI's
- Review monthly performance and identify areas of risk to achievement of targets and forecasts and develop/follow up action plans
- Actively supports the business to ensure compliance to internal and external regulation (fiscal, legal) spreading compliance culture and mindset in the organization

- Solid grounding in value creation process and the full value chain of the business
- Solid understanding of business processes, internal controls supporting these E2E processes
- Knowledge of local tax legislation
