Position Summary

To continue this transformation, we’re seeking an experienced Senior Database Specialist with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects across different databases in cloud as well as on-premises environment.
You will be experienced in cloud-based tech, with a firm grasp of emerging database technologies, platforms, and applications and ability to customize them to help our business demand. You will provide extensive knowledge of database maintenance as well as expertise in managing our suppliers.
You will have an immediate impact on the day one working in the largest Food & Beverage company in the world bringing efficiency to our IT operations and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.

A day in the life of Senior Database Cloud Specialist

Participate in deep on consulting & architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, cost effectiveness and high availability in the various Database plataform On-Premise and Cloud
Vendor management skills under sustain and critical operational changes ensuring proper quality of deliverables
Contributes and support the organization through agile mindest
Develop and implement internal controls, processes and best practices to be used by operations teams
Ensure all infrastructure components meet and follow proper design, performance and capacity standards
Drive discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, cost effectiveness and high availability in the cloud

What will make you successful

Master or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Sciences or Engineering
SQL, ORACLE, Cloud (Azure) certifications are mandatory. PostgreSQL, MongoDB will be considered a plus
4+ years of experience with Oracle and SQL Database Servers as DBA
2+ years of experience with Azure SQL Databases, Managed Instances
2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB Databases
Experience with data warehousing and manipulation/ETL (extract, transformation and load).
Eperience developing PL/SQL and/or T-SQL, stored procedures, indexes, partitioning, and database tuning.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with close attention to details.
Experience in database support & troubleshooting Under Windows/Linux/AIX environnement
Experience in T-SQL, ANSI SQL, Stored procedures, functions, scripts, triggers with extensive use of T-SQL programming
Experience with data analysis, data profiling, data troubleshooting and data reconciliation
Experience with agile methodoligies and practical skills working in Azure DevOps
Strong vendor management skills, combined with effective influencing and negotiation skills
Good organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities at the same time
