Available Shift: Monday to Friday - Commercial time

 

Position Summary

 

Supervise ocean shipments processes and execution in order to allow smooth operations for Nestlé ocean deliveries by:

  • Ensure necessary information is updated in the system to execute the shipments to fulfil Nestlé Markets requirements (IMS and R&P);
  • Managing and guiding the usage of Shipments Management Systems, enhancing visibility and fostering collaboration across our customers and suppliers;
  • Maintaining close relationships with Markets and Logistics Platform team, solving issues and driving performances toward expected service levels.

 

 

 

A day in the life of...

 

  • Convert requirement into containers for annual tender;
  • Check any potential gaps vs current setup (lanes, carriers registration, etc.) for annual tender volumes;
  • Upload allocation, contracts and rates in Ocean platform for annual tender;
  • Update charges in Ocean Platform for annual tender;
  • Update contracts and rates for new requests (volume/lane);
  • Check if new contracts and rates are uploaded in the Ocean platform;
  • Initiate GSI creation in Ocean Platform based on the custom clearance requirement;
  • Select “Add New GSI”. Name and Description to be added according to guidelines;
  • Choose “Collaborators” (Exporter) to configure the access to create export documents;
  • Add document type with responsible party, expected due date, Access, remarks etc. ;
  • Save the GSI: First version of the GSI is created;
  • Maintain the determination set-up as per the SLA;
  • Send reminder to the market to initiate GSI revision for the overdue ones;
  • Search for the GSI, open it, and click "Create New Version" after alignment between both markets;
  • Make the necessary changes such as addition or deletion of documents and/or parties;
  • Create second version or new version of the GSI under OLD GSI (In version tab);
  • Move OLD GSI to Archive in version tab (It can be retrieved whenever is needed);
  • Review the different versions and the changes done in the modified GSI;
  • Additional Operational activities;
  • Health checks;
  • Continuous Improvement & Projects.

 

 

What will make you successful

 

  • Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Administration, Business, or related fields;
  • Advanced English is mandatory;
  • Advanced Spanish is mandatory;
  • Experience in the freight forwarding industry / Shipping Lines (import/export operations) is a plus;
  • Experience in Customer Service;
  • Knowledge in physical logistics;
  • Experience in Project Management in Supply Chain;
  • Dealing or working with/for Providers;
  • Organization and prioritization skills;
  • Ability to solve problems quickly;
  • Previous experience in Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, basic programming - to enable efficient Analysis;
  •  Understanding of various software development methodologies (e.g. Agile);
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using design thinking methodology
  • Strong Analytical skills
