Source to Pay/ Ocean Documentation Compliance Analyst
Available Shift: Monday to Friday - Commercial time
Position Summary
Supervise ocean shipments processes and execution in order to allow smooth operations for Nestlé ocean deliveries by:
- Monitoring and validating the documents for the ocean deliveries to fulfil Nestlé Markets requirements (IMS and R&P);
- Managing and guiding the usage of Shipments Management Systems, enhancing visibility and fostering collaboration across our customers and suppliers;
- Maintaining close relationships with Markets, Suppliers, Shippers, Ocean Carriers and 3rd Party service providers solving issues and driving performances toward expected service levels.
A day in the life of...
- Follow up upload for necessary documents for VGM and CBLI with exporting market;
- Proceed with VGM declaration (Always before each container reaches the port terminal);
- Issue Shipping Instructions to Ocean Carrier (CBLI);
- Receive, check and amend (If necessary) the draft Bill of Lading;
- Send the BL to the exporting market to confirm data is correct;
- Confirm to Carrier about draft BL information (Send confirmed draft to Carrier);
- Receive the final Bill of Lading (after vessel departure);
- Validate Shipping Documents
- Consolidate all shipment documents (Shipping and export documents) and notify the receiver;
- Support and collaborate on export traffic activities, export documentation, custom clearance if needed;
- Additional Operational activities;
- Health checks.
What will make you successful
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Administration, Business, or related fields;
- Advanced English is mandatory;
- Advanced Spanish is mandatory;
- Experience in the freight forwarding industry / Shipping Lines (import/export operations);
- Experience in Customer Service;
- Knowledge in physical logistics;
- Experience in Project Management in Supply Chain;
- Dealing or working with/for Providers;
- Organization and prioritization skills;
- Ability to solve problems quickly.
