Source to Pay/ Ocean Transport Monitoring Analyst
Available Shift: Monday to Friday - Commercial time
Position Summary
Supervise ocean shipments processes and execution in order to allow smooth operations for Nestlé ocean deliveries by:
- Monitoring ocean transport operations after departure and until arrival ensuring the stock is delivered on time to fulfil Nestlé Markets requirements (IMS and R&P);
- Managing and guiding the usage of Shipments Management Systems, enhancing visibility and fostering collaboration across our customers and suppliers;
- Maintaining close relationships with Markets, Suppliers, Shippers, Ocean Carriers and Global Logistics Procurement, solving issues and driving performances toward expected service levels.
A day in the life of...
- Coordinate with the export team to confirm the loading date;
- Track containers in transit from loading point to port of loading POL;
- Track shipments in case of deviations during ocean transit;
- Notify markets about deviations in ocean transit;
- Update ETA when necessary (significant changes affecting operations);
- Receive arrival notice from Carriers;
- Follow up on empty container return;
- Monitor Shipments' Platforms performance based on agreed SLA, ensuring business continuity and driving continuous improvement;
- Manage process to redirect containers to new Destination (COD) when necessary;
- Additional Operational activities;
- Health checks;
- Continuous Improvement & Projects
What will make you successful
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Administration, Business, or related fields;
- Advanced English is mandatory;
- Advanced Spanish is mandatory;
- Experience in the freight forwarding industry / Shipping Lines (import/export operations);
- Experience in Customer Service;
- Knowledge in physical logistics;
- Experience in Project Management in Supply Chain;
- Dealing or working with/for Providers;
- Organization and prioritization skills;
- Ability to solve problems quickly.
